- 1Preheat oven or air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- 2Set up a breading station: coat chicken tenders lightly in flour, dip in beaten egg, then press into crushed cornflakes mixed with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- 3Place coated chicken tenders on a lined baking sheet or in the air fryer basket. Spray lightly with oil and bake/air fry for 15–18 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and cooked through.
- 4While the chicken cooks, mix all sauce ingredients in a small saucepan over medium heat. Simmer for 3–5 minutes until slightly thickened.
